HI, I'M POL
Assistant Professor of Management & Leadership at Le Moyne College
As a native of Barcelona, Catalonia, I received a full athletic scholarship to compete at the NCAA DI level, allowing me to pursue an education in the U.S.
My academic background in Sports Science from the University of Barcelona complements the B.S. in Communication received at East Carolina University, where I investigated the underlying dynamics of interpersonal and inter-organizational communication.
While pursuing an M.B.A. at the same alma mater, I worked as a research assistant for the College of Business researching human capital development and organizational climates related to diversity, inclusion, and bias.

Working under Dr. Kristin Cullen-Lester, whom I am fortunate to call advisor, mentor, and friend, I completed my PhD in Business Management from the University of Mississippi, specializing in leadership and teams from the social networks perspective.

Today, I serve as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Leadership, and Human Resources at Le Moyne College working with colleagues and students, where greatness meets goodness!
WHAT DO I STUDY?
My research interests draw from the social network theoretical lens to study informal leadership, teams, and organizational politics. I focus on understanding how individuals utilize their networks to explore the assembly of teams, leadership, and social influence dynamics.
